Nate Woodford Photography – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) outline the expectations, responsibilities, and policies between Nate Woodford Photography (“Photographer”) and the client (“Client”). By booking a session or service, the Client agrees to the following:

1. Booking & Payment

A non-refundable retainer (amount determined at booking) is required to secure the session date.

Remaining balances are due on or before the session date unless otherwise stated in writing.

Dates are not officially reserved until the retainer is received.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Retainers are non-refundable, but may be transferred to a new date if rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice.

Sessions canceled within 48 hours may require a new retainer.

Photographer reserves the right to reschedule due to weather, illness, or unforeseen circumstances.

3. Session Details

Client is responsible for arriving on time and prepared.

Late arrivals may reduce shooting time and do not guarantee additional time beyond the scheduled session.

Photographer is not responsible for uncooperative individuals, poor behavior, or lack of preparedness.

4. Editing & Turnaround

Standard editing (color correction, exposure, cropping, artistic style) is included.

Extensive retouching (skin smoothing, body modification, object removal, etc.) is available for an additional fee.

Typical turnaround for edited images is 2–6 weeks, depending on session type.

5. Image Delivery & Storage

Final images are delivered digitally via an online gallery.

Galleries remain active for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Photographer does not permanently archive images; it is the Client’s responsibility to back up delivered files.

6. Copyright & Usage Rights

All images remain the copyright of Nate Woodford Photography.

Clients receive a personal-use license, allowing them to download, share, and print images for personal purposes.

Images may not be altered, sold, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.

Photographer reserves the right to use images for marketing, portfolio, and promotional purposes unless the Client provides written notice requesting otherwise.

7. Model Release

By booking, the Client grants permission for images to be used by the Photographer for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional purposes.
Clients may request a no-model-release agreement at the time of booking.

8. Liability

Photographer is not liable for injuries, property damage, or incidents during the session.

In the unlikely event of equipment failure, corrupted files, or unforeseen issues, liability is limited to a reshoot or refund of the session fee.

9. Weather, Environment & Location

Outdoor sessions may be impacted by weather. Photographer will determine if rescheduling is necessary.

Clients are responsible for obtaining location permits where required.

10. Print Quality & Lab Disclaimer

Photographer is not responsible for print quality from third-party labs.

For best results, Clients are encouraged to order prints through the Photographer’s professional lab options.

11. Agreement

By hiring Nate Woodford Photography, the Client acknowledges that they have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
